The Forney Arts Council is looking for a part-time Assistant Site Manager for The Forney Arts House, its new facility on W. Pacific St. in Forney. Hours have some flexibility, Thurs - Sat.
Position Summary: Assistant Site Manager
- Helps the Site Manager oversee the daily operations of a small nonprofit arts center that includes gallery exhibition space and art classrooms. This role ensures the facility is organized, welcoming, and prepared for exhibitions, classes, rentals, and community events.
- Maintains and updates program calendar, uses Communal software for bookings, performs classroom prep and cleaning, monitors supplies, and assists with events.
- Provides administration and operations support for the facility and its programming.
This is a hands-on, multi-functional role ideal for someone who is organized, flexible, and passionate about community-based arts education. Candidate should have excellent communication skills. Candidate should be detail oriented, have strong calendar management skills, and be able to oversee multiple classes and tasks. 1+ years experience preferred. Some remote work options. Must pass background check.
Hourly Rate: $15/hour, commensurate with experience.
